The Grafana Cloud MCP snap-in registers Grafana Cloud's hosted remote MCP server in DevRev, giving agents and users a natural-language interface to your observability stack. Search dashboards and folders, pull dashboard JSON and panel queries, and run PromQL and LogQL queries directly against your connected Prometheus and Loki data sources. Look up alert rules, list and inspect incidents, and check OnCall schedules and team assignments — all through the same Grafana Cloud permissions the connecting user already has. Authorization uses OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration and PKCE, so there's no manual app registration step: connect your Grafana Cloud account, approve the requested scopes, and start querying. Access defaults to read and query scopes (grafana:read, grafana:query); write access (grafana:write) for creating or modifying dashboards, alerts, and incidents is available as an optional scope.
