Automatically manages knowledge base article visibility by mapping collections (directories) to user groups. When articles are created, updated, or during scheduled syncs, the snap-in applies the configured visibility rules ensuring the right groups can access the right content without manual intervention. Features- Collection-to-Group Mapping Define visibility rules using a simple text format that maps collection titles to one or more groups. Supports multiple groups per collection using pipe separators (e.g., Documentation:Engineering|Product,FAQ:Sales).
- Real-Time Event Processing Automatically sets visibility when articles are created or updated. Filters out service account changes to prevent infinite loops.
- Scheduled Bulk Sync Configurable timer (default: hourly) syncs visibility for all articles, ensuring new mappings are applied retroactively and catching any missed events.
- Hierarchical Collection Inheritance Articles inherit visibility from their parent collection hierarchy. If a direct parent has no mapping, the snap-in walks up the directory tree to find a matching rule.
