Slack Public Channels is designed for knowledge sync, not on-demand Slack access or actions on your behalf. Make public conversations searchable as knowledge. Sync public-channel content from Slack into DevRev so Computer can use it as context when answering questions. Keep the data flow. Content flows from Slack to DevRev. Changes are not synced back to Slack. Connect once through an administrator. An administrator configures the workspace connection. Individual users do not need to connect their own Slack accounts. Public channels only. Private channels and direct messages are excluded from this sync. Installation An administrator sets up the connection in DevRev's connector settings:

Open Slack Public Channels.
Connect Slack through the administrator setup flow.
Complete the configuration to start syncing public-channel content into DevRev's internal knowledge.

Notes

Only public-channel content is synced; private channels and direct messages are excluded.
Sync is one way, from Slack to DevRev.
This connector supports knowledge sync, not actions in Slack.
For on-demand access to public and private channels and direct messages, plus supported Slack actions, use the Slack connector.
