Record Adoption of Knowledge Graph and DevRev Computer
DevRev, Inc. (Headquarters: San Francisco, California; CEO: Dheeraj Pandey, DevRev) announces the establishment of its Japanese entity, DevRev Japan G.K. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), effective September 18, 2025, with Satoshi Kawaminami appointed as the Head of Japan Business. In addition, Eisaku Machida is appointed as Chairman, leveraging his extensive experience at global technology companies to support DevRev's full-scale expansion into the Japanese market. The company is also announcing its first customers in Japan, Macnica, Inc., KOKUYO CO., LTD. and Hokugin Software Corporation, and a reseller partnership with Classmethod, Inc. and Synthesy K.K. The establishment of the Japan entity will enable the company to provide faster and more precise solutions to Japanese customers who are actively considering the adoption of generative AI powered by knowledge graphs.
1. Background of the Establishment of Japan Entity
DevRev has earned strong recognition in the U.S., European, and Asian markets for its innovative solution, “Computer” solutions leveraging AI and data platforms. In response to growing demand in the Japanese market, known for high-quality support services and advanced product development capabilities, the company has established a local entity to strengthen customer support.
2. First Customers in Japan
KOKUYO Co., Ltd., Hokugin Software Corporation and Macnica, Inc. have adopted DevRev’s AI platform as the first domestic customers. This implementation will help improve their customers’ operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.
KOKUYO - Space Management System
Kokuyo provides a cloud-based system that supports the operation and space management of facilities such as rental offices, shared offices, and meeting rooms. Support for expanding clients is managed through a co-existence model of AI agents and human staff.
Hokugin Software - Business Efficiency Platform
This business efficiency platform aims to enhance operational efficiency across the entire development division, comprehensively integrating unstructured data—such as customer emails and meeting minutes—with structured data like Jira project management systems used in system development. By enabling cross-platform data search across both unstructured and structured data, it allows to streamline business processes.
Macnica - Omatome Ninja
An automated platform for extracting insights and generating reports, designed around the concept of “turning massive reports into profits with 1-click.” AI instantly analyzes vast amounts of field-generated report data, visualizing customer insights and improvement proposals. By integrating with DevRev, it rapidly feeds user inquiries and requests back to the development team, driving continuous enhancement to the customer experience.
3. AI Solution Partnerships
DevRev has also signed reseller partnership agreements with Classmethod, Inc. and Synthesy K.K., to strengthen product development, sales and support systems in Japan. By combining each company's technical capabilities and consulting expertise, this will deliver value to a broader customer base and offer solutions tailored for the Japanese market.
